RAJASTHAN UNITED FC ARE FINALLY HOME IN JAIPUR

Rajasthan United FC has made significant strides in enhancing its infrastructure ahead of the I-League 2024-25 season by securing a new home ground at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. This strategic move aims to bolster the team's performance and engage local fans more effectively.

Stadium Overview

Location: Vidyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan
Capacity: 3000.

Rajasthan United FC won promotion to I-League after winning I-League 2021. They were deprived of home advantage as they had to play their home games in other states like Delhi, Punjab, Kolkata and Hyderabad due to lack of proper Football stadium in the state.

With the construction of new stadium in the outskirts of state capital, the Desert Warriors will finally have a home of their home. They have started their practice sessions at the new stadium.

The grass is artificial astroturf and the stadium lacks floodlights. This means RUFC will have afternoon kick offs for their home matched. This can be an issue for the players towards the business end of the league when the temperature soars to the late 40-degree Celsius.

Home Advantage: Establishing a dedicated home ground allows Rajasthan United FC to build a strong local fan base, crucial for the team’s morale and performance.

Community Engagement: The stadium's location in Jaipur enables the club to engage more effectively with the local community through events, outreach programs, and initiatives that promote football.

Yet, the move to Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium marks a pivotal moment for Rajasthan United FC as it seeks to elevate its status in Indian football. By creating a vibrant home atmosphere and engaging the community, the club aims not only for success in the I-League 2024-25 season but also for a lasting impact on football in Rajasthan.
