Indian football team will travel to the West Asian nation to play an International Friendly on June 7 as reported by FIFA's official website.
India are slated to take on Kyrgyz Republic on June 13 at home in their second match of 2018 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers and the friendly against Lebanon will be a perfect opportunity for Head Coach, Stephen Constantine to prepare his team for the all important match.
India last played against Lebanon on 19th August 2009 in an International Friendly and lost the match 0-1. Last five encounters between the two teams have been in favour of the Lebanese team they they have won 3 times and drew twice.
Currently, Lebanon are 148th in FIFA Rankings, and have won only once in their last 5 international matches, drawing the rest.
